2nd November 2026 – Owlis Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of SA1 Solutions Ltd and SA1 Telecoms Ltd, two highly respected technology businesses serving customers across Wales and the UK.
The acquisition represents another important milestone in Owlis Group’s growth strategy, further strengthening its managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, communications and digital transformation capabilities while expanding its presence across South Wales and the wider UK market.
Founded more than 20 years ago, SA1 Solutions has built a strong reputation for delivering trusted managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud technologies and strategic consultancy. SA1 Telecoms complements these capabilities with a comprehensive portfolio of connectivity, hosted voice and business communications services.
Together, the businesses will create an even stronger platform to support organisations navigating an increasingly complex technology, security and compliance landscape.
A shared vision for growth
SA1 Solutions and SA1 Telecoms have built their success on long-term customer relationships, technical expertise and exceptional service delivery; values that strongly align with those of Owlis Group.
As part of the transaction, founder and Managing Director Simon Ahearne will remain with the business, ensuring continuity for customers, employees and partners while supporting the integration into Owlis Group. Alex Kamil, Technical Director, will also remain with the business. Since joining SA1 Solutions in 2009, Alex has worked closely with Simon to help transform the company from a small team into a trusted technology partner, building its technical capabilities, expanding its services and supporting its sustained growth. Together, they will play an important role in the next phase of the company’s journey.
